You
can arrive at Hotel Gran Sabana in several ways: By
plane from major Venezuelan cities; contact Avensa and/or Aserca Airlines.
Currently, Avensa has a DC-3 flight to Santa Elena de Uairén leaving from
the Caracas Airport in Charallave. By
driving your own vehicle; remember that the road to Santa Elena is in a
good state of repair and that any vehicle can travel all the way to Brazil.
It is very easy to get here from any city; to give you and idea: the
distance from Caracas to Santa Elena de Uairén is approximately 1300 Km (some
800 miles), some thirteen hours of driving time; from Puerto Ordaz, the
distance is approximately 700 Km (435 miles), some seven hours-driving
time; by the way, once you have gone past Km 98 you will begin to enjoy
some impressive views. |
